This enclosure is a metal housing for electricity meters, protective devices and distribution components. It is used in residential metering installations, commercial building distribution systems and electrical fit-out projects that bring metering and circuit equipment into a dedicated enclosure.

Key Features

One cabinet size for 16- and 20-way layouts
The 16- and 20-way versions share a 400 × 280 × 120 mm body, so either circuit arrangement fits the same allocated enclosure space. Smaller layouts use 200 × 160 × 90 mm for 4 ways, 260 × 200 × 100 mm for 8 ways and 320 × 240 × 110 mm for 12 ways, avoiding an oversized box for a smaller circuit arrangement.

Sheet gauge matched to the assembled meter box
The 0.8–2.2 mm range covers cold-rolled and galvanized steel. On a meter box with a broad door or closely spaced attachments, the thicker sheet limits local panel flex; smaller covers use a lighter section without increasing the box dimensions. Powder coating and baked-paint finishes protect the exposed steel surfaces.

IP54 protection for shared building-service areas
Protection options run from IP30 to IP54. For a meter position exposed to airborne dust and occasional splashing, IP54 adds dust protection and resistance to splashing water from any direction. IP30 serves dry, protected locations without a water-ingress rating, giving the two installation conditions distinct enclosure specifications.

Customization

We manufacture to meter-layout drawings, enclosure drawings or an existing prototype. Cutting, forming, joining and finishing follow the approved design, with installation interfaces defined before fabrication so the housing matches the electrical assembly rather than requiring unplanned site alterations.

Quality Control

Incoming sheets are checked against the ordered material and thickness. First-piece approval verifies the formed body and the relationship between the meter opening, fixing points and enclosure edges before the batch proceeds.

In-process checks cover bend consistency, joint alignment and weld workmanship. Cut edges and finished surfaces are examined for burrs, exposed sharp points and visible coating defects before the parts move into assembly.

Every enclosure is checked for door closure, fitted-part clearance and appearance before packing. Measuring tools are calibrated regularly, inspection records are retained, and rejected features are corrected and rechecked before release.
